On September 25, 2024, the WW Committee announced the cancellation of an earlier decision regarding Russian and Belarusian amateur radio operators to restrict the receipt of awards for participation and taking prizes in competitions sponsored by CQ magazine.
We understand the importance of this statement, we accept it as a victory of justice for radio amateurs of the entire planet Earth and the Amateur Radio Code declared by Paul M. Segal, W9EEA (1928).
Due to the lack of need to compete and the further development of mutual understanding and friendly relations between radio amateurs, the Ham Spirit Contest committee decided to change the rules and postpone the date of the competition.
