A new season of contests is approaching, and with it comes concern about equipping the contest position with new equipment, antennas and restoration of what has already been tested over the years but destroyed by nature.
So in our case, during a strong hurricane, an element of a powerful antenna for the eighty-meter range was broken. The restoration of the antenna took a whole month, since it was necessary to slightly change the design in order to strengthen the elements. After all, each antenna element is more than forty meters long!
Thanks to the friends who helped lower and raise the antenna and also restore the elements.
